As the Executive VP for Goldstein & Associates, Mike provides organizational leadership to the group by fostering teamwork, championing improvement, and building relationships. He believes that having a strong foundation of financial literacy is fundamental to all other areas of life. By giving people the support and coaching they need he feels that anybody can have the peace of mind and freedom to pursue the purpose-filled life they are called to live.
An advocate for Goldstein & Associates’ financial professionals, Mike believes in the power of building bridges for clients — helping people define their current reality and determining their desire for the future, and then putting a plan together to bring it to fruition. Whether it be clients or co-workers, he has a passion for helping others and each day brings an attitude of positivity to be a good teammate, work hard, and have fun doing it. He approaches every situation with a strong sense of humor and a willingness to help.
Mike earned his undergraduate degree in communication arts and master’s degree in educational leadership and policy analysis both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a Certified Initiative One Leadership Institute Facilitator and frequent public speaker. Mike believes in being a lifelong learner and Is always seeking to expand his knowledge through formal and informal education.
When Mike has an occasional free minute, he loves spending time with his wife supporting their two biological and their many foster children in their academic and athletic endeavors. As a former college hockey player Mike continues to enjoy working out and being socially active with friends and family. A strong man of faith, Mike also believes in giving back to the community in which he lives as an active member of Blackhawk Church.
